Tip 1: Create
a Domain Name People Can Remember!
The best way to insure that you get website traffic and repeat visitors
to your site
is to make a memorable domain name. If your visitors can easily
remember your website name, then you won't have to worry about them
losing the URL. Yeah, it's true visitors can bookmark sites, but you
can't expect every person to bookmark every website they visit; which
includes yours. With a memorable domain name, they won't have to
bookmark your site because it will be so easy to remember.
Take this Website for Example....
www.cavemancopywriting.com
I first saw that website many months ago, but I still remember it
to this day. Why? Because it is original and a great example of a
memorable domain name.
Make your Domain Name Stick out of the crowd and you'll see results,
Guaranteed!
Another Tip: Don't make your domain name too similar to other
websites. The last thing you want is for your visitors to be taken away
by the competition just because you choose the wrong domain name.

Tip 2: Make
Sure Your Domain Name Can Be Read Easily!
If your domain name is easy to read, it's easy to remember. By making
your domain name easy to read, you will avoid losing many visitors and
a lot of website traffic. It doesn't take much to make your domain name
legible either; capital letters and bold words can go a very long way.
For Example: Which one of these is easier to read....
www.articlewriterextraordinaire.com
or
www.ArticleWriterExtraordinaire.com
If you chose the first one, good for you. However, most people will
find that the 2nd one is much easier to read and comprehend. Here's the
general rule of thumb: the clearer it is, the easier it is to remember.
Some people think this isn't a big deal and you shouldn't worry about
it. Well, I think losing visitors & traffic is a very big deal
and
should be avoided at all costs.
If you missed out on the .com of your domain name, then be sure that
the reader knows that it is a different extension. If it is .net, then
bold it or put it in capital letters. You'd be surprised at how many
people see .net and still put in .com anyway.
Quick Note: Your domain name is important, but don't obsess over it too
much. A domain name is the gateway to your site, not the site
itself.
